On Tuesday 8 September we had the pleasure of celebrating the incredible organisations that make such a difference across our local community at The Sunny’s 2026 Community Grant Morning Tea.
This year, we’re proud to provide over $200,000 in community grants to more than 20 organisations, supporting a diverse range of causes and initiatives across our community.
From sporting clubs and schools to community groups, support organisations and services for seniors, children, families, veterans and people living with disability, each organisation plays an important role in bringing people together and helping our community thrive.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from a number of our 2026 grant recipients to The Sunny for a morning of connection, conversation and celebration.
As a not for profit community club, supporting the people and organisations that make our local area stronger is at the heart of what we do.

Community grants are one of the ways we can help local organisations continue their important work, whether that means supporting participation in sport, creating opportunities for young people, strengthening connections for seniors or helping deliver programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
We’re incredibly proud to play a small part in supporting the important work they do across our community.
To every organisation that received a grant this year, thank you for everything you do. We look forward to seeing the difference these grants will help make and continuing to support the incredible people who help our community feel connected, supported and included.
