SunPAC Theatre is a purpose-built performing arts venue with a fully equipped stage and professional grade sound and lighting throughout, ready for anything from a corporate keynote to a full conference program. The space is designed to adapt to your event, whether that means a single speaker at a lectern or a full production with multiple presenters and staging changes across the day.

- Basic AV equipment, including microphones, sound system and projector or screen access
- White or black linen as standard, with other colours available on request
- Full tableware setup, including crockery, cutlery and glassware for every guest

Capacity
SunPAC Theatre seats up to 297 guests theatre style, with several other configurations available depending on your event.
- Theatre style: up to 297 guests
- Cocktail style: up to 300 guests
- Round table: up to 200 guests
- Cabaret style: up to 160 guests
If you need something smaller, the Meeting Rooms & Boardroom suit a corporate meeting or training day instead.
Catering & beverage
Catering at SunPAC Theatre is fully in-house, with options to suit every stage of your event. Choose a two-or-three-course plated dinner for a formal evening, or a buffet package in bronze, silver or gold tiers for larger groups. Canape packages and grazing platters work well for cocktail-style functions and for breaks between sessions.
For conference days specifically, the Delegates Package is built around exactly this need. It combines morning or afternoon tea with a corporate lunch option, plus tea and coffee service running throughout the day.
On the beverage side, choose from bronze, silver or gold packages across a two or three hour window, or run a consumption tab or cash bar instead.
FAQs
Can we bring in external AV providers or presenters?
Yes. If your conference or event needs specialist AV, staging or presenters beyond what’s already included, external providers are welcome. Let the events team know in advance so they can arrange space, power access and timing, and make sure any external provider holds public liability insurance and follows venue guidelines.
What happens if our delegate numbers change closer to the date?
Final numbers are due 14 days before your event and become the minimum you’re charged for. If numbers increase after that point, the team will do their best to accommodate the change, depending on staffing and kitchen capacity at the time of your event.
Can we brand or style the theatre for our event?
Yes, you’re welcome to style the space yourself or bring in your own stylist or signage provider. All styling needs sign-off from the events team first to meet safety and venue standards. And confetti, glitter and open flames aren’t permitted.
What's included in minimum spend?
Minimum spend covers the total amount required to book SunPAC Theatre and can include room hire, food, beverage and any specialised staffing your event needs. It doesn’t cover additional styling, entertainment or external vendor costs. The events team will work with you to structure a package that meets the minimum in a way that suits your event.
What's your cancellation or postponement policy?
Cancellation Refund Schedule
- 3 months or prior: Full refund of your deposit.
- 2 months: 75% of your deposit refunded.
- 1 month: 50% of your deposit refunded.
- 14 days or fewer: Full payment is required with no refund.
Rescheduling Policy
- You can reschedule your event up to 7 days before the date.
- Your original deposit fee is forfeited if you change the date.
